Über 4.000 Tiere mussten gekeult werden. Inzwischen wurden auch Wildschweine in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern positiv auf das Virus getestet. Sorge bereitet der Hotspot im Landkreis Ludwigslust-Parchim deshalb, weil er einen starken Sprung in Richtung Westen darstellt.
